BILLY J. HARDIN - HEAD COACH
Infielders & Offense
Coach Hardin graduated from Llano High School in Llano, Texas and attended Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree.
The 2023-24 season will be the 10th year at Cy-Fair for Coach Hardin and the 7th year as the Head Coach. He has 21 years of coaching experience while teaching World Geography, World & U.S. History, Government, & Economics (currently teaching U.S. History). Before coming to Cy-Fair, he was an assistant at Houston Memorial, Spring Woods, and Channelview and was the Head Coach at Post High School for two years (2008-2010).
From 2014-2017, he was the Varsity Assistant as the Bobcats reached the playoffs twice (2015, 2016) making it to the Regional Quarterfinals & Area Finals. In 2016, he guided the Bobcats pitching staff to help win the District Championship.
Coach Hardin's overall record as Head Coach is 164-81 and is 142-60 at Cy-Fair. In his first year as the Bobcat Head Coach in 2018, he led the team to a 17-6A District Championship and reached the Region III Finals with an overall record of 32-11. The 2018 team was only the 4th team in school history to reach the Region Finals. In 2019, the Bobcats finished 2nd in District and made it to the 3rd round of the playoffs and in 2021, the Bobcats were once again District Champions and made it to the 3rd round of the playoffs. The Bobcats finished 2022 as Back-to-Back District Champions and made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs. In 2023, the Bobcats won a third District Championship in a row with another 2nd round playoff appearance.
During his time as a coach, he has worked with many athletes that have gone on to play baseball in college with a few making it to the professional level. Most recently, Hayden Wesneski (Cy-Fair pitcher Class of 2016) currently with the Chicago Cubs.
Coach Hardin has received several honors including being named 17-6A Coach of the Year three times (2018, 2021, & 2022). He was named as the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 6A Assistant Coach of the Year in 2016 and was also selected as an HABCA All-Star Coach in 2008 and again in 2016.
Married for 24 years, he and his wife Kelly have two daughters - Landry (21), Logan (19) and one son - Barrett (14).

TORREY OGNOSKIE - ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH
pitchers / STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Coach "O" graduated from East Bernard High School. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2009.
He has 14 years of coaching experience and he has taught U.S. History, Texas History, World History, and World Geography. Currently he teaches U.S. Government & Psychology. His assistant coaching stops before Cy-Fair have been at Weimar High School and Porter High School.
He has been a head coach for four years; three at Howe High School and one at Leon High School. During that time, three of his teams reached the playoffs and the 2014 team in Howe captured the school’s first district championship in baseball in 20 years.
He has been married to his wife, Haley, for 12 years and they have a seven-year old son, Wyatt.

RYAN BRADSHAW - head SUB-VARSITY / VARSITY ASSISTANT

Coach Bradshaw is a 2013 graduate of Cy-Fair High School where he was an All-District football and baseball player for the Bobcats. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics.
This is his 7th year of coaching & teaching, all at Cy-Fair, and he teaches Geometry.
He has been married to his wife, Sarah for 2 years and they have a newborn daughter, Sloane.

BRADY MURPHY - aSSISTANT SUB-VARSITY / VARSITY SCOUT

Coach Murphy is beginning his 10th year of coaching & teaching and his 4th year at Cy-Fair. His previous coaching stops include Willowridge and Lubbock Sharp Academy. Murphy went to high school at McKinney North and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math.
He is currently teaching Geometry and also coaches Freshmen & Varsity Football.
He has been married to his wife, Amanda, for 2 years and they have a newborn son, Lane.

PARKER ALLEN - ASSISTANT SUB-VARSITY
Coach Allen is in his 4th year of coaching & teaching, all at Cy-Fair. He went to Cypress Creek High School and is a Texas A&M graduate with a degree in History.
He currently teaches World Geography and also coaches Boys Water Polo.
