BILLY J. HARDIN - HEAD COACH

​Coach Hardin graduated from Llano High School in Llano, Texas and attended Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree.

The 2024-25 season will be the 11th year at Cy-Fair for Coach Hardin and the 8th year as the Head Coach. He has 22 years of coaching experience while teaching World Geography, World & U.S. History, Government, & Economics (currently teaching U.S. History). Before coming to Cy-Fair, he was an assistant at Houston Memorial, Spring Woods, and Channelview and was the Head Coach at Post High School for two years (2008-2010).

From 2014-2017, he was the Varsity Assistant as the Bobcats reached the playoffs twice (2015, 2016) making it to the Regional Quarterfinals & Area Finals. In 2016, he guided the Bobcats pitching staff to help win the District Championship.

Coach Hardin's overall record as Head Coach is 197-92 and is 173-71 at Cy-Fair. Teams under his leadership at Cy-Fair have reached the playoffs each year and have won 5 District Championships. Two of those years the Bobcats have reached the Regional Finals and have finished ranked top 10 in the State.

​During his time as a coach, he has worked with many athletes that have gone on to play baseball in college with a few making it to the professional level. Most recently, Hayden Wesneski (Cy-Fair pitcher Class of 2016) currently with the Houston Astros.

Coach Hardin has received several honors including being named 17-6A Coach of the Year four times (2018, 2021, 2022, & 2024). He was named as the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 6A Assistant Coach of the Year in 2016 and was also selected as an HABCA All-Star Coach in 2008 and again in 2016.

Married for 25 years, he and his wife Kelly have two daughters - Landry (22), Logan (20) and one son - Barrett (15).

RYAN BRADSHAW - ASSISTANT VARSITY COACH

Coach Bradshaw is a 2013 graduate of Cy-Fair High School where he was an All-District football and baseball player for the Bobcats.  He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics.

This is his 8th year of coaching & teaching, all at Cy-Fair, and he teaches Geometry.

He has been married to his wife, Sarah for 3 years and they have a 1-year old daughter, Sloane.

BLAKE WILSON - HEAD JV / ASSISTANT VARSITY COACH

Coach Wilson is a 2018 graduate of Cy-Fair High School where he was an All-District Pitcher as well as the Greater Houston Pitcher of the Year in 2018 when he finished with a record of 15-0. He played baseball at Western Texas in Snyder and finished his collegiate career at Blinn Jr. College with a degree in General Studies.

This is his 1st year of coaching & teaching and teaches Health.

BRADY MURPHY - aSSISTANT SUB-VARSITY / VARSITY SCOUT

Coach Murphy is beginning his 11th year of coaching & teaching and his 5th year at Cy-Fair. His previous coaching stops include Willowridge and Lubbock Sharp Academy. ​Murphy went to high school at McKinney North and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math.

He is currently teaching Geometry and also coaches Freshmen & Varsity Football.

He has been married to his wife, Amanda, for 3 years and they have a 1-year old son, Lane.

PARKER ALLEN - ASSISTANT SUB-VARSITY

Coach Allen is in his 5th year of coaching & teaching, all at Cy-Fair. He went to Cypress Creek High School and is a Texas A&M graduate with a degree in History.

He currently teaches World Geography and also coaches Boys Water Polo.

Coach Allen has been married to his wife, Marissa, for 1 year.
