2024 SEASON PREVIEW
The 2024 Bobcat Baseball season is coming soon and the schedule features nothing but tough opponents each & every week. The Bobcats are scheduled to play 5 scrimmages & 32 games total in 2024 with 24 of those games being against opponents who made the 2023 playoffs. The Varsity will play 22 of those games at home at the new & improved Bobcat Ballpark, aka The Mothership!
Scrimmages begin February 3rd with the Bobcats hosting Strake Jesuit to open up the new baseball complex! Scrimmages will finish with College Station, Bridgeland, Klein Collins, & Klein - all playoff teams in 2023.
February will open up the first game of the year when the Bobcats travel to rival Cypress Woods who finished #3 in the State in 2023. The Bobcats will then host two tough tournaments at The Mothership along with another rival game against Cypress Ranch sandwiched between the two.
March will find the Bobcats facing off against another foe in Cypress Falls before they travel to Frisco ISD to play against some talented Dallas area teams along with another 2023 Final Four team in Austin Westlake.
District play kicks off during Spring Break as the Bobcats look to defend their 2023 District Championship. The first 3 contests are against 2023 returning playoff opponents Stratford, Jersey Village, & Cypress Creek.
April finds the Bobcats facing the always hungry Northbrook Raiders followed by Spring Woods and Cypress Ridge. The last week of the district season will be a tough test as the always talented & well-coached Memorial Mustangs, another 2023 playoff team, will give the Bobcats all they can handle as the playoff fight comes down to the wire.
