The Bobcats Varsity got out to a five-run lead in the fifth inning and held on for a 6-5 victory over Goose Creek Memorial on Friday. Goose Creek Memorial scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Moya and a home run by Clements.
In the first inning, Cy-Fair Bobcats Varsity got their offense started. The Bobcats scored one run when Peyton Lewis singled. Tripp Sealy got the win for Cy-Fair. He lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out three and walking zero.
